Horacio Sanz or Horatio Sanz is an actor from Chile as well as comedian located in United States. People know him best for his role in
Saturday Night Live
aired between 1988 and 2006. Born on June 4, 1969 in Santiago, Chile, Horatio was the youngest of the three sons to Sylvia and Carlos Sanz. Horatio was born with the talent of acting.
He recognized this gift at a very young age and started polishing his skills in Chicago, where he succeeded in pleasing the audience in various theatres namely The Court Theatre and The Second City. Along with many others, he was a founder of Upright Citizens Brigade Sketch Comedy and Improv Troupe. One of his works includes a brief role in a television sitcom The Motherhood in the year 2009, in which he played a role of a male nanny also known as Manny. Along with his SNL co-star he featured on Big Lake which was aired on Comedy Central. Being initially overweight Sanz flabbergasted his fans by making his public appearance after losing 100 pounds in a year. He credited abstinence from alcohol the prime reason for his weight loss. Lately, he has started his own podcast, The Hooray Show, on Earwolf Podcasting Networks.
Although, he is not that tall (5 foot 8 inches) but there’s something to his personality that adds to his charms. People usually call him “mad man” because of his instantaneous ways. He’s never low spirited on the sets, and is always full of energy on the stage. He’s fond of listening to raps while staying up late at night. Though he never got the chance of starring as the lead actor in any of the movie, but he always succeeded at making a mark through his acting skills. He is presently married to Jenn Schatz who is an actress plus a writer, mainly known for her works like Bachelorette (2012), Splinterheads(2009) and Joshy(2016). The couple is presently living in New York City.
