These were placed on the soundtrack for “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” and “That’s So Raven!” respectively. In October 2005, Ortega made her recording debut (“It’s R Time”) with the album titled “No Place like BKLYN”. She then recorded her pop hit “Crowded” in 2006. “No Place Like BKLYN” made a place in the Billboard Top Heatseekers at number one.
In 2006, Jeannie appeared in the film “Step Up”. She again acted in the flick “Indelible” (2011) featuring opposite Tristan Wilds. Ortega became a Christian singer and released her album named “Perfect Love” (it got released on 30 January 2012). “Strong” and “Imperfection” are her two music videos in the album.
