He also appeared in This Is A Spinal Tap as Morty the Mime. He would then go on to star in Running Scared in 1986 and The Princess Bride in 1987. This is the most celebrated film in Billy Crystal’s repertoire. He also won an award for starring in City Slickers in 1991. After this slew of success he starred in movies such as, Mr. Saturday Night, Forget Paris and Analyze This. In the latter he once again was celebrated for his performance. Crystal was actually the first choice to voice Buzz Lightyear in Pixar’s Toy Story but he turned it down. He later said that he regretted this decision. He went on to voice act for another Pixar character, Mike Wazowski in Monsters Inc. Crystal has also been praised for his hosting ability as he hosted the Academy Awards in 1990, 1991, 1992, 1997, 1998, 2000, 2004, and 2012. He is second only to Bob Hope. He also won a Tony award for his one man play 700 Sundays about his childhood and his young life. Billy and his wife Janice married in 1970. They have two daughters.
