David Lowery

David Lowery is an American movie director. He hails from Dallas, Texas. He is the son of Mark Lowery and Madeleine was born on December 26, 1980, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He is from a Catholic family and is the oldest of nine kids. At the age of seven, his family shifted Irving for his dad's work. At the University of Dallas, his father is a Theology Professor. David graduated from Irving High School, keen in making movies; Lowery viewed all that he could before starting to do his particular work. Lowery directed and composed his first motion picture; a short work which he no longer allows to be seen called Lullaby, at 19 years old.

During this time, he met few other young fellows inspired by the movie, and they have cooperated on some ventures. Lowery’s first feature film St. Nick was his breakthrough, which takes after two runaway kids relinquished by their guardians. Southwest festival of 2009, showed the motion picture in the south. At the American Film Institute Dallas, an International Film Festival of 2009, he won the Texas Filmmaker Award. Lowery directed and composed the short movie named Pioneer, shown at the Sundance Film Festival in 2011.
