Danila Kozlovsky

Danila Kozlovsky was born and brought up in Moscow, Russia. He was born on 3rd May 1985 to a theater actress Nadezhda Zvenigorodskaya and was fathered by a lecturer in Moscow State University, Valery Kozlovsky. He has two siblings, Yegor, and Ivan, the former being older to him and the latter younger. He is a Russian actor and a model. At a very young age, he learned to play the alto saxophone. He was asked to change schools several times by his teachers due to undisciplined behavior. Danila debuted his career with a TV series, Simple Truths, in 1998, in which he played the role of Denis.

After his graduation in 2002, Danila got admitted into an acting school to take up acting and directing, under the provisions of Lev Dodin, a modern Russian Theatre Director, in Saint Petersburg State Theater Arts Academy. In 2006, Danila made his first stage appearance as Edgar, in his act of King Lear, hosted by Little Drama Theatre.He won his first theater award from the Expert Council of the “Golden Sofit”, in the category of the best Debut Actor for the same. In 2006, Danila released his first debut Russian movie Garpastum, for which he received the Russian Cinema Critics Guild “White Elephant Award”. He also bagged the National “Golden Eagle Award” for the best Cinema Actor for his cast in Dukhless, in 2012.

In 2008, he also got highlighted for the MTV Russia Movie Awards for the “Best Kiss” partnered with Ekaterina Klimova, for their kiss in Black Hunters, in 2008. In 2008, he also won the constellation Film Actor Festival Award for his leading role in Back In Time. He bagged the Golden Eagle Awards for being the best leading actor in Soulless, in 2012. He got married in 2008 to an actress named Ursula Malka, with whom he got separated in 2012. Later, he was in a relationship with Yuliya Snigir, a Russian model and actress. However, this relationship also approached an end by 2013. He was later involved with Olya Zueva, an actor, model, director and writer.
