Musician Plays The Sweet Music

Although the term “musician” refers to any person who has musical knowledge and has the talented to work in the field of music, but in the industry this term is used to refer to people who specifically handle the musical instruments. The musicians may be playing at live concerts, orchestra, theatre or movies. For live concerts, orchestra or theatre, they need to have absolute perfection and all their shows need to be well- rehearsed since the performance has a single take they have no chance to make any errors.

The movies, on the other hand, have multiple takes but they need to coordinate well with the vocalists and the entire team so as to bring out the exact impact that the music director wishes to create. Any instrument, be it musical (like guitar, table, sitar, harmonica or violin) or the ones that are used to create Foley sounds (car parts, water drums, steel plates, glass bottles), can be played by the musicians. When it comes to films, musicians record inside some isolated rooms of the studio, so that other sounds and vocals don’t interfere with the instruments.
