Donny Osmond

Donny Osmond was born on 9th December, 1957, in Utah, USA. He was born in a family, along with six other siblings, with whom he sang since childhood. He was also a member of a Church group since childhood. He and his brothers used to perform at musicals and other events since they were young. Once they sang as the barber shop quartet, which was also aired on a Disneyland televised special. This was his first step towards fame, and he was called by Andy Williams, along with his brothers, to perform at his show. After his performance there, he soon became very well known.

Around the early 1970's, Donny Osmond had become very well recognized as a teen idol for everybody. He achieved a lot of fame, but he didn't let go of his brothers and still sang with them. Nevertheless, he started recording solos as well, and it was a huge hit all around. He was well known for Puppy love, Go away with the little girl, etc.

In the coming years, he decided to reinvent himself for which he was very well praised by well-known artists. He performed at various places, and finally got recognized and was hired to sing in records. After his siblings got to take part and perform at the American reality TV show called Dancing with the Stars, where the celebrities dance with the choreographers to win the show, they bagged a TV show. The TV show was called "Donny & Marie", and was aired for 90 minutes.

Donny Osmond's fame just didn't stop there as he also appeared as a guest star in many famous series like ‘Friends’, which was based on the life of six best friends, Hannah Montana, etc. Like his sibling, Marie Osmond, Donny Osmond also got his turn on the reality TV dancing show called Dancing with the Stars. He got a very talented choreographer, Kym Johnson. He wanted to prove himself better than his sister, Marie Osmond, at dancing. It was hard for him to manage his schedule with the reality show, along with his show in Las Vegas. He was very determined throughout the show and gave his hundred percent. He finally did his best performance and won the dancing reality TV show. After winning this show, he was also called as a guest judge on the same reality TV show during Disney Week.
