Bruno Mars

Bruno Mars is the stage name of Peter Gene Hernandez. He was born on 8th October 1985. He is a renowned American multi-instrumentalist, choreographer, singer, songwriter and record producer. He was born and brought up in Hawaii . Being from a family of musician he had a musical background and started making music at a very young age. Throughout his childhood , he performed in various musical venues and concerts. After completing his schooling from High School, he moved to Hollywood, that is the city of Los Angeles to pursue his musical career. He initially signed a contract with Motown Records, which was later discarded. Following which he signed the recording contract in 2009 with Atlantic Records.

In the same year 2009, he co-founded ‘The Smeezingtons', a production team which recorded singles like Billionaire by Travie McCoy and B.o.B’s Nothin’ on You. These singles helped him establish himself as a single artist . He finally debuted his first studio album in 2010 – Doo-Wops & Hooligans. The album included singles likeThe Lazy Song, Just The Way You Are, Grenade, all of which topped the Billboard Charts. His second album was out in 2012 and it was called Unorthodox Jukebox. It was announced as the United States number one album of the year.

The most famous songs of the album were Locked Out of Heaven, Treasure and When I Was Your Man.
