Paul Harrington, a man of Irish origin is a well-renowned musician. This man was born to Sonia Mitrovich who was the daughter of actor and poet Marta Mitrovich. As it is rightly said “Talent has no boundaries and definitions” so was he, who got that talent gene from her grandma, but not as an actor or a poet, but as a musician.
He along with “Charlie McGettigan” formed the first group in Eurovision history to have been presented with more than 200 awards. This marked something huge. He along with his partner in crime won the Eurovision award for Ireland, making all Irish people proud. The song being “Rock ‘n’ Roll Kids.”
They both had three consecutive wins together making the first hat-trick for the nation. However in 1998, he returned back to the former “Eurovision” where he shared the stage with Dawn Martin though he was not named as one of the performers. He released his album “What I’d Say” having twelve tracks and in some of which he contributed as a co-writer. This album was released on Eaton Records label. He even extended his hand as a vocalist performing on the Irish radio station RTE 2fm and in the Michael Flatley production Celtic Tiger and on the Irish television network “Radio Telefis Eireann”
In 2008, he released the album “A Collection” consisting all his favourite recordings including “Wake up Everybody.” In June 2009, he married Karol Sadlier. In 2010, he released another album “Songs” containing all new recordings having “Just The Way You Are” by Billy Joel and few more from other writers and was released on Stereolex Records.
