Jaimie Alexander

Jaimie Alexander was born on 12th March 1984. She was born in South California, United States. On her birth, she was named Jaimie Lauren Tarbush but she opted to change it. Jaimie Alexander lived in Greenville with her family. At the age of four, she shifted to Texas. Jaimie Alexander graduated from the Colleyville Heritage High School. Jaimie opted for sports during high school as she had no interest in theater. The fact that she could not sing also made her avoid acting. She never intended to become an actor.

At the age of seventeen, she replaced her friend in a play where she was scouted by her manager Randy James. Jaimie was the only girl of the five siblings she had. She is the only actor in her family. Jaimie Alexander started her career in 2003, featuring the low budget movie, The Other Side. In 2004, she played a small role in the film Rest Stop. She launched herself by playing Hanna Thompson in The Other Side. The very next year, she played Liz Chambers in Hallowed Ground. Jaimie Alexander continued her brigade by signing for the superhero movie, Thor by Marvel. She plays the role of Sif in the superhero edition. She was nominated for the Scream Awards for her in the first edition of Thor. Apart from films, Jaimie has been actively part of television. She played Caitlin Porter in 58 episodes of Watch Over Me. She was nominated for the Saturn Awards, for her 33 episode association with Kyle XY. She played the role of Sif on television also as she featured in two episodes of Agents of SHIELD. Jaimie Alexander is 32 years now and is at the peak of her career. Jaimie is presently playing a lead role in the Tv series Blindspot, where she plays the role of Taylor Shaw.
