Everybody loved the Rocky star, Sylvester Stallone. Those fighting sequences in the film were the most enjoyed part. Not many people know that Sylvester tried making those fighting scenes as authentic as possible, and those punches onscreen were not fake but real. While filming the final fight scene of Rocky IV, Stallone asked
Dolph Lundgren to hit him as hard as possible. The punch in the climax scene was so hard that Sylvester’s heart got swollen, and he was under intensive care for eight consecutive days. Well the hard work Sylvester and his co-stars put in the movie, was incredible.
Remember the film ‘
Now You See Me’ and the heart-pounding scenes in the movie? Isla Fisher played the role of a female Houdini in the flick, and the water tank stunt Isla performed was far too real. Isla had to break the chains of the water tank and bang the glass of the reservoir, but the actress got entangled between the chains and ran out of the air for two and a half minutes. ‘They had a guy who was off camera, but he was a long way away with a can of oxygen,’ she said. ‘By the time I realized I couldn’t get up and beckon for him, I realized that I had run out of air.’
The Mission Impossible star experienced near to death experience during the shoot of the film ‘
Edge of Tomorrow’. Cruise is used to performing the stunts in his movies by himself but his co-star
Emily Blunt ran the car into the tree. Emily self-confessed she got bewildered and didn’t put the brake on time.
He was one the most versatile action stars. During the climax of the film Police Story, Jackie slides down a metal pole while light bulbs explode all around him. Things went wrong because a thicker glass was used instead of ordinary glass. Consequences were severe; Jackie hurt his seventh, and eighth vertebrae and his pelvis.
5. Jamie Alexander
Bold and beautiful, Jamie got severely injured on the set of Thor: The Dark World. Displaced disc, 11 chipped vertebrae, dislocated the shoulder, and a torn rhomboid were the consequences after Jamie filmed an action scene in rainy weather. The actress told New York Times, “It was raining; it was dark outside; it was like five in the morning — and I went down a metal staircase and slipped. It took me out of filming for a month.”
