The Last Stand is an action film that stars Arnold Schwarzenegger as a small town sheriff. Kim Jee-Woon, a South Korean director, directed the movie. It also stars other notable actors like Forest Whitaker, Johnny Knoxville, Rodrigo Santoro, and few others. The plot’s basis is around the steps taken by a tough sheriff and his deputies to keep a drug lord from escaping into Mexican borders.
You know a movie will be full of gun-spewing action when the start of the trailer is as extreme as this one. The video jumps right into the plot and kicks off with a suspense-filled soundtrack, hog-speed car chases, and guns of all sizes. The return of Arnold to the lead role after his Terminator series will be a huge treat for his fans. From the trailer, we can tell that the film derives its charm, not from its cheesy dialogues, but from its crazy and well- executed action sequences.
The dialogue for the movie is full of overused one-liners but with it coming out of Schwarzenegger’ mouth fans will mostly enjoy the film. The feature is a shout-out to the old action movies with decent stunts and an abundance of explosions. It received a mixture of reviews but mostly positive ones. The film is a generic action flick that will keep you entertained.
