Jesse McCartney

He is the son of Ginger and Scott McCartney. At the age of seven, he participated in local musicals and then joined in The King and I at the age of ten. In 1998, he joined the group Sugar Beats. He was recognised after joining the American boy band Dream Street and was with the band till 2002. The experience proved to be a stepping stone for his career in becoming a pop star. When he was fifteen, he began to work on his solo career and produced his first album Beautiful Soul.

It was a major hit and the album that contained three songs was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America. He began his fist tour starting from California in May 2005, and it included a total of 56 stops. He began his second album titled as Right Where You want Me. He has a close relationship with Disney by creating various soundtracks for them and also providing the voice for cartoon characters in Hannah Montana. He was set for his third album and co-wrote the song titled Bleeding Love, but gave away it to British singer Leona Lewis for her debut album, Spirit. The number became a huge hit and got nominated for Record of the Year.

In 2008, he released his third album Departure. He re-released the album in 2009 calling it Departure: Recharged with four songs. In 2010, he released his fourth Have it All. In 2013, he joined Backstreet Boys and DJ Pauly for the tour “In a World Like This”. In 2014, he released another album In Technicolor. Apart from being a singer, he also tasted success in the acting profession. He played a role in the soap All My Children for which he won two Young Artist Awards and two Daytime Emmy Awards. He acted in various Disney Channel shows and lent his voice for the Alvin & The Chipmunks sequels. He also engaged in the video game series Kingdom Hearts sequels. In 2011, he introduced a fragrance for women in the name Wanted by Jesse. He also took up smaller roles in hit TV series CSI, Law & Order.
