Jean Dujardin

Jean Dujardin is a French actor, comedian, producer, and director. He is known for his performances in The Wolf of Wall Street along with Leonardo Di Caprio and in The Monuments Men, George Clooney’s historical drama film. Jean has won several awards so far from BAFTA to Oscar. He was born on 19 June 1972 in Rueil-Malmaison , Hauts-de-Seine, Ile de France, France. Jean started working in his father’s construction company after completing his studies and later during his military service he developed his interest in acting.

Dujardin got married twice and had three children with them, his partner was Gaelle and has two sons with her but ended the marriage in 2003. Jean dated his co-star after divorce and finally got married to Alexandra Lamy on 25 July 2009. Jean started his career with the acts played by him in the bars and cabarets, and later he guest-starred in the comic Television programs and Films. He got his first break with the talent show, Graines de Star in 1996. From 1999 - 2003, he appeared in the French comedy serial Un Gars, Une Fille with Alexandra Lamy.

After this, he appeared in OSS 117: Cairo, Nest of Spies as Hubert Bonniseur de La Bath. He earned accolades for the role and won an award for it. Its sequel also released with the name OSS 117: Lost in Rio. He gave another hit flick, 99 Francs. This film was an adaptation of a hit bestseller by Frederic Beigbeder. The latest movie of Jean is La French in 2014, he played the role of French Police magistrate in the film. Dujardin won Academy Award for Best Actor, the BAFTA Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role, Golden Globe Award for Best Actor- Motion Picture Musical or Comedy, Cannes Film Festival Best Actor, and Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role with which he became the first actor in history to win an Academy Award.
