She was born as Dame Julia "Julie" Elizabeth Andrews, DBE on October 1, 1935 from Surrey, England. She’s an accomplished actress, talented singer, dancer and theatre director. She was known to be the in the list of “100 Greatest Britons.” She was first married to Tony Walton and then later on divorced. He met his longtime partner and married with Blake Edwards in 1969. She had 5 children, naming Emma, Jennifer, Geoffrey, Amelia and Joanna. She was considered to become one of the few to ha an “absolute pitch.” She was alos dubbed as the “Youngest Prima Donna.” 

Her first debut  film was “La Rosa di Bagdad” but gained limelight in the movie “Mary Poppins” in 1964. She won BAFTA, Golden Globe, Grammy Award, Golden Laurel and Academy Award – Best Actress. She made another blockbuster thriller-suspense hit “The sound of Music” in 1965 as Maria von Trapp that successfully escaped from the fangs of the SS Recruitment. She received Best Actress from Golden Globe, another Golden Laurel for Best Female Musical Performance and David di Donatello for Best Foreign Actress. She made the movie “Thoroughly Modern Millie” in 1967, the famous Gertrude Lawrence for her 1968 movie “Star!”, love comedy film “Darling Lili” in 1970. She slightly loosed her limelight as her time passes through movie industry.
