Scott Wittman is an American filmmaker by profession. He is also a lyricist plus writer who works for Broadway theatres, concerts and in television shows. He was born on 16 November in 1954. In 2002, they both did the writing part of the music and lyrics of the musical called “Hairspray” which later made them win the “Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Lyrics” and also the “Tony Award for Best Original Score” plus a “Grammy Award” too. Along with Hairspray, Scott also worked as a director and a lyricist in “Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me” and also conceived plus directed in a solo concert of Patti LuPone titled “Matters of the Heart” in 2000.
