Analysis
Monster High: The Movie is an attempt by the director to bring the iconic fashion doll series to life. Efforts are taken to weave an interesting storyline to charm the audience and continue the legacy of this doll series. But this movie has too many flaws to be considered a success. Firstly, it caters to a specific audience, the ones who are allured by the beauty of fiction. Also, the storyline is predictable at times and the viewers aren’t left with any thrill or excitement during climax scenes.
Many loopholes are observed in the execution of the plot. The dialogues are poorly written and the screenplay shows a clear lack of thought. All in all, this movie can be a good watch for kids, but even they might look through the disastrous mistakes of it.
