Verica worked as Scandal's co-executive producer from 2012 to 2018, and he returned to acting in "How to Get Away with Murder" in 2014, playing Sam Keating. His parents work in real estate. On his father's side, he is of Italian heritage, while on his mother's side, he is of Yugoslav descent. In 1987, he made his broadcast debut on the ABC daytime serial opera All My Children. He then appeared as a recurrent character on L.A. Law and as a guest star on Home Improvement, Picket Fences, and NYPD Blue. He appears in the films Die Hard 2, Father's Day, Red Dragon, and Zodiac. From 1995 to 1996, Verica was a regular cast member on the CBS primetime serial series Central Park West.
