Matt Ward

Matt Ward is a versatile young artist. He was born on June 3, 1986. Ward originally came from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and taught himself to dance when he was a teenager. He is already a versatile dancer, singer, choreographer, and actor. Ward currently plays the leading role in the free-form series 'The Bold Type', which gives us a glimpse into the brutal life and love of the head of the fictional global women's magazine Scarlet. He played the role of Alex Crawford, an employee of Scarlet magazine. He was recently fired by the Wall Street Journal and accepted a job with Scarlet because he refused to let New York beat him. Ward plays Simon Lacroix in the third season of CW's "Arrow", also known as the villain of DC Comics “Komodo”. His role in DC comics is widely known as the archer and the main enemy of Arrow.

Ward previously starred in the medical drama "Remedy" starring Enrico Corantoni and Sarah Canning. The show provides a top/bottom view of the inner workings of a large city hospital.  In the film, Ward starred in Pi's lullaby with Forest Whitaker, Clemens Posey, and Rupert Friend. He also appeared in ‘Little Red Riding Hood’, ‘Tron: Legacy’, ‘Charlie St. Cloud’, and ‘Alien vs. Predator’.
