Marshall Allman, the son of James Allman Jr. and Idanell Brown, was born on April 5, 1984, in Austin, Texas. His brother’s name is David Allman. The actor excelled at soccer and art as he grew older. He discovered his acting aptitude at seventeen when he was cast in Clive Barker's The History of the Devil in a summer play. So, he chose to pursue an acting career in Los Angeles, California over studying art in New York City after graduating from Austin High School in 2002. On June 17, 2006, Allman married American actress Jamie Anne Allman of Parsons, Kansas.
In 2013, they welcomed twins into the world.
