Plot
Thooku Durai is a ruffian, who mediates the village disputes and settle them. He is very much attached to his family and lives happily with them. When Dr Niranjana comes to their village for a medical camp, Durai falls for her. Although Niranjana knows that his character is just the opposite of her, she strongly hopes that she could lead a good life with him. So, they get married. The couple is blessed with a daughter. Niranjana could not adjust with Durai, as he didn’t change and involves in the village issues, even after becoming a father. So, she decides to leave him and moves out with her daughter. Thooku Durai stays with his family. After ten years, due to his family’s compulsion, he visits Mumbai, where his daughter and wife reside. He finds out that a local businessman Gautham Veer is targeting the life of his daughter. Why did he aim to kill Durai’s daughter? How did Durai save her from Gautham Veer? Did he unite with his family? Watch the film in theaters!
Star Performance
As usual, Thala Ajith had done a perfect job for his fans. Unlike his previous film, where Siva showed him a superhero, we could see Ajith as a normal village guy in Viswasam. People who didn’t like Vivegam will fall for Viswasam. Nayanthara and Anikha did an excellent job. They are the great support to the script. With a huge star cast, we couldn’t expect every biggie to have a strong role. But, all of them have done their part well.
Analysis
Following the mixed response with Vivegam, Siva decided to go with Veeram style and had got success too. Whistles blow during the intro scenes and Thala is always a Thala and he proves it. Siva has designed a perfect entertainer for Thala fans. Thala’s costumes suit him well. Ajith and Nayan scenes are perfect. There are a lot of emotional and sentimental scenes in the film to make the screenplay gripper. The music by Imman is good. The cinematography and the editing are perfect.

Verdict
With an excellent cast and crew, Siva’s Viswasam is a sure shot. Ajith fans would really be happy to watch the film after Vivegam. They love Thala’s both the looks and Viswasam is surely a good entertainer with its engaging screenplay. Unlike Vivegam, even the non-Ajith fans would visit the theaters to watch it!
