Plot
Kaali is a Pondicherry resident who is in love with Antre. She wants to settle in France for a good future. When Kaali meets Malpe Upendra, his look-alike, Antre suggests that he kill Upendra for a lifetime settlement. What will Kaali do?
Star Performance
Arun Vijay makes no mistakes in his performance as Kaali and Upendra. Siddhi Idnani plays her role convincingly, though it has flaws in writing. John Vijay, Hareesh Peradi, and Balaji Murugadoss did what was required. Tanya Ravichandran played a small yet noticeable role.
Analysis
The story symbolizes two different characters. Antre’s role has a different attitude in different situations. Initially, Antre is the one who gave a fresh life to Kaali, but the same character changes for money. This is one of the biggest drawbacks in this film. The main point of focusing the message on desire, which is the root cause of everything. The film failed to establish the main conflict. The scripting should’ve been better with stronger sequences that establish the plot perfectly. The making is good, but the matter is not consistent. The action scenes are choreographed well.
