P. Sai Sharan, renowned as Saicharan is an Indian playback and Carnatic singer from Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Born on October 16, 1992, he hails from a Hindu Tamil family. As a child, he always dreamt of becoming a singer.

At an early age of 8, he began to boost his music vibe by singing Carnatic songs at Thyagaraja Aradhana in Thiruvaiyaru. He started his singing career as a Tamil playback singer in 2012 and sang “Dang-Dang” in a movie called Manam Kothi Paraval with singer Malavika. Every successful individual has an essence of perseverance and Charan’s story is no exception.

After many rejections, he rose to make his name by winning the third season of Airtel Super Singer. The singer competed in various TV reality competitions and singing events. His first achievement was when he made his way to the finals of Vijay TV’s Airtel Super Singer Junior. He couldn’t win the show, but it was the struggle that was preparing him for the breakthrough.

After this show, his enthusiasm for participating in several other shows ascended and he appeared as the associate of the “Tiruchi Thimingalangal” team headed by singer Srilekha Parthasarathy in the starting season of ‘Sangeetha Mahayuddham’, in which his team was the runner-up. The act of participation was continuing its journey to the breakthrough.

In 2011, when Sai was an engineering student, he participated in Vijay TV’s Airtel Super Singer Season 3 and won. After this win, he subsequently attended many shows and gave his views on many topics and shared his ideas.

He became a playback singer and chose this career for life. He gave his voice to some of the major hit songs in Telugu cinema like Nanban a Nanban, Unmanam, Unnai Kadhalithu, Nizhala ninja ma, Chitramainadi, Aattam Potter and many more. He also mentored his team, the “Symphony Super Kings” in the premiere season of Airtel Super Singer T20 in 2013. In 2015, his team won in the next season of Airtel Super Singer T20.

Mohammed Aslam, a playback singer from the Peninsular India, started his career in the year 1994. Aslam started singing when he was 6 years old. He took up singing as his profession at a very early age of 13. Though the singer started his career in the Tamil industry with a song Naan Uravukaran in the Sarath Kumar starrer Naattamai, it did not take much of his effort to get acclaimed in the Bollywood. He started working with A.R. Raman in the year 2006 and did his debut in the movie “Rang De Basanti” with songs like, “Khal-Bali” and “Pathshala” .Later in 2008, in the movie “Jodha Akbar”, he featured his voice for song “Azeem-O-Shaan-Sahhenshah”. In the same year Aslam sensationalised the entire nation with his famous song “Pappu can’t dance sala” from the movie “Jaane tu ya Jaane na”. Apart from Bollywood, Aslam continued working with Rahman in other Tamil films like “Sillunu Oru Kaadhal”, “Varalaru” and “Azhakiya Tamizh Magan . He was also a part of Raman’s world tour. Aslam also lends his voice for renowned music directors like S.A Rajkumar and Vidyasagar in Tamil and Telugu as well. Aslam from the very beginning of his career has made himself prone to all cultural exposures. His voice does not seem to be limited by any social or geographical paradigm. The versatility of Aslam is not restricted within India by any means. He has performed in the Persian Gulf beyond India. Apart from all the play back singing, Aslam has more than 2000 stage shows to his credit. “Aslam Nite” was the most known stage performance of his, which he completely dedicated to the music legend Mohammed Raffi. Some of the notable performances of Aslam include that of the tribute concert for legendary Raffi that was held thirty years after the death of the personae. The concert left its entire audience dumbstruck as Aslam in companionship with Anil Baja restored the glory of the evening by creating an atmosphere that once again fathomed the undying fame of the legend. The evening was marked by songs like, “Ehsaan Tera Hoga”, “Tujhe Kitna Pyar”, “Gun Guna Rahe Hai” and the most pepping of all songs, “Madhuban Mein Radhika Nachere”. The protean singer, however, got involved in indulgence for a couple or more years but later did a flaunting come back in the year 2015 in Tamil and for the first time has sung some of the genres usually known as “Gaana number”.

Krishna Kumar is popularly known by the name K(Kay ). He is an Indian singer, music director, and composer who worked in films. His birthplace was Nagapattinam in Tamil Nadu, India. When he was four years old, he moved to Chennai. He studied in Chennai at the Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan School. He took his keyboard lessons in the school. He finished his Grade 8 certificate exams quickly in the Trinity College of Music, London. At the age of 12, he joined his first rock band, and that was where he found an outlet for his talent. He then played with the band Panatella, a successful rock and roll band for several years. K then went on to create jingles for advertisements and corporate films. He also started singing songs for films. He began his career in films in the year 2010. His debut film was Yuddham Sei. K then composed music for the Tamil film Aarohanam in the same year. His next breakthrough came when he was called by Rajeev Ravi, famous cinematographer to compose music for the film Annayum Rasoolum. Fahadh Faasil and Andrea Jeremiah played the lead roles in the film. It was K’s debut film in Malayalam. The audio was launched at Fort Kochi on December 12, 2012. K made his entry into Bollywood with the Hindi remake of the film Pizza. In the year 2015, he composed music for the film Kirumi directed by Anucharan. He was praised for his background work for the film. Amidst this, he worked in the films like Onbadhule Guru, Mahabalipuram, Kaadu, Cartoon, 49-0, and Kallappadam. However, all these films failed to receive attention. So Kirumi was considered a comeback for K. In the year 2016, he composed music for another Rajeev Ravi film titled Kammatipaadam. He received a huge response to his music in the film. He then composed music for the film Aandavan Kattalai. The soundtrack album was launched on September 12, 2016. He then composed music for the Tamil film Ammani. K composed music for the Tamil, Hindi and Telugu version of the movie The Ghazi Attack. He is a versatile artist. He did his debut in Bollywood by the movie ‘Pizza’. He has worked with many famous personalities. He has also worked in a film which is a biography of Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy. This film was directed by Mahi V. Raghav. Other movies he has worked in are ‘Yuddham Sei’ in 2011, ‘Cartoon’ in 2015, ‘Yatra’ in 2019, etc. He once appeared as in a Tamil movie named ‘Kallappadam’ in 2015. He got ‘Best Background Score’ award for ‘Yuddham Sei’ in 2013 at Big 92.7 FM Tamil Melody Awards. He composed background music for the movie ‘A Billion Colour Story’ in 2016. This movie was written and directed by N. Padmakumar. This movie won many awards, including Best Feature Award.
