Makers Appeal Against The Court Order Over Good Bad Ugly

The Good Bad Ugly case is growing more complex with each passing day.

The producers of the movie have appealed against the court order passed by Madras High Court. In case you aren’t unaware, famous composer Ilaiyaraaja had sued the makers of Good Bad Ugly over the alleged misuse of his old songs, and was successful in getting the court pronounce the verdict in his favor.

The producers have now alleged that the movie is suffering losses due to this decision. A couple of days ago, the movie was pulled out from the watchlist of OTT giant Netflix due to the very same reason.  Interestingly, Ilaiyaraaja had also expressed his objection to Lokesh Kanagaraj using soundtracks

Directed by Adhik Ravichandran, Good Bad Ugly starred Ajith Kumar in the lead role. The movie also starred Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Das, Priya Prakash Varrier, Sunil, and Simran Bagga in other prominent roles. Despite a strong opening, the movie turned out to be a commercial failure at the box office.
