Jana Nayagan To Be The Perfect Swansong For Vijay?

Will Vijay finally get the perfect ‘ending’ to his impressive career?

According to the recent reports, the initial reports look promising for Vijay’s upcoming movie Jana Nayagan. The movie has done a pre-release business of nearly 107 crores, just from Tamil rights alone. If everything goes well, the opening weekend might be anywhere between 150 to 200 crores.

This would be a huge booster for Vijay, who has been struggling to get a good hit since 2023. His last commercial success was the action drama LEO, which is a part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe, and earned more than 600 crores worldwide.

Since then, Vijay has starred in only one movie : GOAT – The Greatest of All Time. Despite starring almost every known face from the southern regions of Tamil cinema, the movie turned out to be huge flop in the domestic circuit, marking one of the rare flops for Vijay since 2022, when he starred in the action thriller Beast.
