Plot
Krishna, who lives with his grandmother in the valleys of Himalayas possesses superhuman powers enabling him to fly high, jump across the mountains and an intelligent brain. His grandmother took him to this distant valley after learning about his superhuman capabilities. He meets Priya and Honey who had come to his village for vacations along with a group of tourists. Accidently, his powers are revealed to Priya and Honey while saving them from an accident. The girls then call him to Singapore giving him hopes of a bright future. Krishna convinces his grandmother and finally reaches Singapore, where secrets, surprises, and life-threatening situations await him.
Star performance
Hrithik Roshan is an absolute treat for the eyes in this movie. As always, Hritik is fabulous with his acting, dance and charisma. Priyanka Chopra is the typical heroine in the movie, who gains intelligence in the later half. Performances by Rekha, Naseeruddin Shah, and Preity Zinta in cameos are a treat for the viewers. The other side actors, too, justify their roles pretty well throughout the movie.
Analysis
The movie introduced Indian cinema to its very first superhero, Krrish, and the audience definitely loved it. The movie has got every Bollywood punch, with catchy and groovy songs, emotional scenes, fights between characters, and good action. Hritik carried the movie on his shoulders. With a touch of sci-fi, some really cool action moves, stunts, and martial arts techniques, the movie becomes an absolute entertainer. The cool dance moves, the typical Indian Sanskar, and every story has its villain theme subtly justify its Bollywood origin. The story may seem predictable, but it has its own charm and aura. It may not have actions or BGM as compared to Hollywood, but it is definitely a unique superhero origin movie. The movie is also successful in bringing back the Koi Mil Gaya aura at the end. Bollywood lovers would definitely love the movie, which has a feeling of nostalgia in it.

Verdict
Despite a few lagging portions in the first half, Krrish is an honest and serious attempt by Bollywood towards creating its own superhero. It is a complete package of entertainment and moviegoers would definitely enjoy this.
