Manini De or Manini De Mishra is a renowned anchor and also a film and television actress who rose to fame after doing the role of Pari Kapadia in the popular series, Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin, where she also won the Best Female Comic Actor in the Indian Telly Awards in the year 2004. 
Manini was a vibrant single parent of Dianoor when she got married to actor, Mihir Mishra in the year 2004. The couple had known each other for 15 days only before they tied the knot. She stated that things just happened, and it’s a product of destiny. Manini’s father is an Oriya while her mother hailed from Uttar Pradesh. She got her name De from her first husband. 
The actress first appeared in Home TV’s Amman and Family in the year 1995 before she was noticed on Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin. Later, she bagged the role of Avanti Oberoi in Sahara One’s Saathiya – Pyar Ka Naya Ehsaas. She also joined the 1st season of the dance reality show, Nach Baliye on STAR Plus together with her husband. In 2005, she did an episodic in Sarabhai vs. Sarabhai as Dinky Chakraborty on STAR One. She also acted as Chi Chi, the event planner in the Rose Audio Visuals television series, Remix which is also aired on STAR One. She played as Pooja in the Hindi series, The Great Indian Comedy Show in the year 2005.
