Jaideep Sen is a Bollywood director who climbed the ladder of success by getting associated with movie actor and filmmaker Rakesh Roshan. Although, the director had a humble beginning with films like ' Jeet' (1996), ' Jaan' (1995) and 'Judaai' (1997) he worked as chief assistant director in all these three projects.

While all these movies had a good star cast but the film did not do a brisk business even though received huge publicity and a good reckoning in trade circles and had a decent opening everywhere.

It was in 2003 that the director worked as an associated assistant director for Filmkraft Productions Pvt. Ltd prestigious project ‘Koi... Mil Gaya’ (2003) which is helmed by Rakesh Roshan.

The film was a huge box office hit and even Hrithik lost the National award by a thin margin of voting as a mentally retarded person but it got the national award for best film on social issues.

This film spawned two sequels — Krrish (2006) and Krrish 3 (2013)— making it the first of the Krrish film series and for each sequel, Jaideep Sen worked as the assistant director (Krrish) or the first assistant director (Krrish 3). Later on, he got involved with Salman Khan’s project ‘ Kick’ (2014). The movie 'Kick' was directed by Sajid Nadiadwala. This film Kick is also believed to go for a sequel.

Like in the other sequels which Rakesh Roshan had handled for Krrish and Krrish 3, this time for Krrish 4, Jaideep Sen could be the choice for filmmaker Rakesh Roshan. We are all pretty sure that Jaideep Sen is driven to know everything about ‘Koi… Mil Gaya.’ He has been in the circle of this project since the beginning and hence Rakesh Roshan can aspire to change the Krrish 4 through many more innovations.

Earlier, this director was given to handle a single project ' Krazzy 4'(2008) which was produced by Rakesh Roshan. This film was an adaptation of the 1989 Hollywood film The Dream Team, and the film featured Arshad Warsi, Irrfan Khan, Suresh Menon, and Rajpal Yadav.

Rakesh Roshan has stated that Jaideep Sen was associated with the early drafts of all the scripts as an associate director of every sequel of Krrish. Hence, he was lifted and given a promotion in the production team and Jaideep Sen, therefore, directed ‘Krazzy-4’.

But now fans of the Hrithik’s earlier Krrish sequels is hoping that Krrish-4 will find some major tweaks in the latest movie version. One can say that this will be one big step taken out by Filmkraft Productions to produce Krrish-4. Hrithik Roshan can really explore the subject once again. The budget for the upcoming sequel is not known.
