Plot
Kabir Dhaliwal, once a skilled intelligence agent, has become a contract killer and a threat to the nation. Powerful nations join hands and target India’s downfall. They believe Kabir to be the perfect choice to bring down India and assign him the task. Learning about this, Vikram, another intelligence agent, tries to stop Kabir. What is his relationship with Kabir? Who is Kavya? What’s her role in this mission? The rest of the story explores these.
Star Performance
Hrithik and Tarak are good in their action and emotional performances. Their chemistry is exciting. Kiara is okay in her role.
Analysis
The first half is quite decent with some action sequences, despite the predictable story. The second half has something different, but it is not explored well. Although the stars performed well, their roles are not narrated properly. The emotional scene between Hrithik and Tarak is good, but bringing it a few scenes before the climax would’ve been better. If the narration had been gripping, the solid performances of both stars could’ve been elevated better than now. Although their face-off looks good, the depiction of their relationship and their nature should’ve been penned better. The songs are average, and the BGM is good in the action sequences. The VFX work is okay. The visuals are good. The editing should’ve been tighter.

Despite the lack of grip in narration, War 2 is a decent one-time watch entertainer for the performances of Hrithik and Tarak!
