Being a renowned music composer of Hindi films, Rajesh Roshan was born on May 24, 1955. His father Roshan is a noted music director of Bollywood. Popular Bollywood director Rakesh Roshan is his elder brother and Bollywood’s heartthrob Hrithik Roshan is his nephew. Some of Rajesh Roshan’s notable works are Julie, Swami, Yaarana, Aap Mujhe Achche Lagne Lage, Sabse Bada Khiladi, King Uncle, Mela, Karan Arjun, Kaho Naa.. Pyaar Hai, Koyla, Papa Kehte Hai, Koi Mil Gaya etc. He has composed music for most of his brother’s directorial ventures.

Rajesh Roshan debuted into the music industry with the 1974 flick Kunwara Baap, a break given by Mehmood. Rajesh and Mehmood went on to join hands together in several movies.

Rajesh Roshan is active in the film industry for several years and has joined hands with almost all top notch singers of Bollywood. Rajesh shared a good rapport with Mohammed Rafi, Basu Chatterjee, Kishore Kumar and Lata Mangeshkar. The film Julie was a milestone in his career and he garnered the Best Music Director Award for this flick. Having faith in Amitabh’s voice, he also made the former to sing in one of his films.

Inkar and Khuddar are a couple of films in which Rajesh did exceptionally well. The number Mungda Mungda featuring Helen is still played in cabaret. Mach Gaya Shor is a song composed by him, which is very famous during Krishna Jayanthi.

Rajesh’s chemistry with his brother Rakesh proved good since they delivered many hits. Most of the projects in which the brothers have worked together begin with the alphabet K. There is a criticism that Rajesh lifts songs from western music. Though Rajesh Rohan is a reputed music composer he is reclusive. Nowadays he works on those films only which are either directed or produced by his sibling. The 2000 flick Kaho Naa.. Pyaar Hai also garnered him the Filmfare Award for Best Music Director.
R Anandh Hindi Actor

R Anandh

The first time when R Anandh had his interaction with the beautiful world of music through a veena, he was just seven years old. It was back then when he realized his immense love for music but then life happened, and he went on to become a mechanical engineer at Roorkee Engineering College in Uttarakhand. But there too he listened to the call of his passion, and after learning to play guitar, he got into the college band. It was early in his life when R Anandh realized that more than being an engineer; what he wanted to be become was a musician. Therefore as soon as he completed his graduation, Anandh joined Prasad Media as a music composer, and he worked there for three years. Later the studio caught fire and it had to be shut down, so Anandh had to leave the job. But this unfortunate incident did not deter him, and he started Aqua Regia, his own home studio along with one of his acquaintances named Gopal Rao from Prasad Media. Through this studio, Anandh started making music for ad films and soon offers to compose music for Tamil and Malayalam feature films started pouring in for the duo. This onset of opportunities led to the expansion of the Aqua Regia and Shaleen Sharma, one of Anandh’s band member from college who was invited to join the duo. In the 1990s, Agosh, the band that consisted of the trio of R Anandh, Gopal Rao, and Shaleen Sharma as, the guitarist, the lead singer and the drummer respectively released an album named Paisa. They also worked as music composers for the Bollywood movie Shor, starring Sunny Deol and Sushmita Sen; but the movie and its songs failed to impress the audience, and so they got disappointed and gave up on the idea of composing music for Hindi films. After this failure, the band disintegrated, but Anandh continued to compose music for ad films, working for multinational brands like Motorola, Limca, Nokia, Sprite, and Samsung. Anandh’s work was worthy, so it wasn’t very difficult for him to establish himself in the ad film industry as a successful music composer. Later, due to turn of events and destiny’s favourable glance, Anandh got the opportunity to compose music for Pradeep Sarkar’s Lafangey Parindey released in the year 2010. This time his efforts bore a good result and the songs of the movie became quite a hit. Although Anandh enjoys doing ad films more, his fame as a music director and composer continues to grow in both the ad film industry and the glamourous world of Bollywood.
