Plot
Rumi, a writer, and Rehaan, a wedding planner, wanted to get married while cruising in Croatia. Rumi’s father doesn’t want to leave their ancestral home. Runi’s sister plans to move to Canada after her marriage. Rumi is torn between duty and love. What happens in their lives forms the rest of the story.
Star Performance
Ananya Panday’s performance is excellent and she excelled in delivering the inner conflicts. Kartik Aaryan’s performance is neat with emotional and humorous elements. Ananya and Kartik’s chemistry worked out well. Jackie Shroff and Neena Gupta have done what was required.
Analysis
The film has a normal storyline with emotional quotient. The first half moves on a decent note, while the second half picks up the pace after Neena’s entry. However, the story didn’t have anything fresh, but familiar tropes. And the backstory of Jackie is not convincing. A few repetitive scenes make us irked. The film has a lot of predictable moments. The BGM and songs are quite decent.
