Leo, a gentleman, and an environmentalist that he is well aware of nature and its ecosystem, this time, went a step ahead and took a trip to Indonesia to show support for the creation of natural sanctuary on the island of Sumatra. This awareness trip mainly constituted of preserving the "Leuser Ecosystem which is the best remaining habitat for the endangered Sumatran Elephant", he quoted on Instagram. "But the palm oil plantations are making it difficult for these elephants to survive." he further quoted. Hence, his Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation is helping the local partners to establish a mega-fauna sanctuary in the Leuser Ecosystem. Indeed, Leo has won accolades and respect from all over the world with this noble initiative.
