’s son, revealed a day after her death that his mother was at peace when she died. He said that she was suffering from sepsis and that it was a terrible ordeal she had to go through. Patty died on Tuesday after battling sepsis caused due to a ruptured intestine. It was the middle of the night when her family got there, and she was surrounded by people she loved when she died. Astin, 45, commented saying that it was all peaceful in the end although it was a race to get there. He posted a picture of his mother holding him as a baby as he paid his respects in the form of a moving post. Patty Duke was 69 and the entertainment industry grieves her loss.
