Plot
Nikolai gets his sons, Sergei Kravinoff and Dmitri, involved in drug trafficking. In Ghana, while protecting his brother from a lion, Sergei gets injured. Calypso helps him get cured with a serum. She leaves a tarot card and moves away. However, Sergei finds himself getting animalistic attributes physically. Soon, he moves to a sanctuary in Russia, which his mother owned. After sixteen years, Sergei is seen as a criminal hunter, and his name is now Kraven. He moves from Russia to see his half-brother Dmitri on his birthday. However, Dmitri was soon held captive by some mercenaries. Kraven seeks Calypso’s help now, as she works as a lawyer. Did she help him? Who kidnapped Dmitri? Why did they kidnap? The rest of the story deals with this.
Star Performance
Aaron Taylor-Johnson looks good in action sequences. But his performance scenes are not much impressive. Fred Hechinger has done a good job as Dmitri. Ariana DeBose didn’t have anything significant to do.
Analysis
The plot offers nothing new and interesting. The dialogue is not impressive, and they needed some crisper words. The action sequences are decent. The CG works are below par, compared with any other marvel film. Only the scene when Kraven faces Dmitri’s kidnapper was impressive. The BGM is quite decent.

Verdict
Compared to the previous Marvel movies, Kraven The Hunter lacks enough grip needed for a superhero film. However, for some action sequences and a few performances, it is watchable once!
