The 41-year-old environmental activist had been on the Sumatra island of Indonesia, last month. He posted on his Instagram page about the threat to the wildlife due to the palm oil plantations. He had mentioned that Sumatran elephants, orangutans and tigers are facing a life threat. He said, "The expansion of palm oil plantations is fragmenting the forest and cutting off key elephant migration corridors, making it more difficult for elephant families to find adequate sources of food and water". The spokesperson of the Indonesian government, Heru Santoso responded to his post as, "We support his concern to save the Leuser ecosystem". He also stated, "But we can blacklist him from returning to Indonesia at any time if he keeps posting incitement or provocative statements in his social media". Will Leo be banned?
