had recently visited the Leuser Ecosystem and had gone vocal about the constricted habitat of the wild animals especially the Sumatran elephants. He blamed it on the rise of Palm Oil Industry in the region which is eating up the forest, and he faced deportation charges on the behalf of the Indonesian government for “defaming” the industry.
