This talented lady has crossed many hurdles in her life and achieved a great success to retain her name and place in the cinema industry. She has appeared in almost all the Indian language films and gained goodwill too. Born as Gopishantha, she was renamed as Manorama to appear in theatres. She has crossed several stage dramas and films and has got a guiness record of acting in more than 1000 films. This wonderful lady has started her cinema career in Maalyitta Mangai. The only film she played as a heroine is Konjum Kumari in the year 1963. She was suggested for the role by Kavi Arasu Kannadasan. Aachi Manorama is not only a talented actress; she is a wonderful dancer and a great singer too.
