The first look of his acting debut has been revealed, which is titled DC. Wamiqa Gabbi Wamiqa Gabbi is an Indian actress and a dancer. Sh >> Read More... has been cast as the female lead in this story, and it will be directed by Arun Matheswaran.

DC is loosely based on the iconic novel Devdas. However, like Dev D, it will be a modern adaptation with a dark twist. While Lokesh Kanagara will play Devadas, based on the titular character, Wamiqa will be playing the role of Chandra, based on his muse, Chandramukhi. According to some reports, DC will be told from the perspective of Dev and Chandra, rather than the traditional storyline of Dev and Paro.

DC will be the first full fledged role for Lokesh Kanagaraj as an actor.
