Early OTT Release For Idli Kadai

Looks like Idli Kadai will be releasing on the OTT.

Idli Kadai was Dhanush’s fourth venture as a director, and was released on October 31 after multiple relays. However, despite receiving critical appreciation, the movie underperformed at the box office.

This is the second consecutive setback for Dhanush as a director, who had previously worked on the coming-of-age romantic drama titled Nilavuku Enmel Ennadi Kobam, which flopped at the box office when it released in early 2025. Dhanush also worked in the bilingual drama Kuberaa, which turned out to be an average grosser.

Dhanush’s hopes now lie on his comeback movie Tere Ishk Mein, which marks his return to Hindi cinema after four years. The movie is a spiritual sequel to Dhanush’s iconic Hindi debut Raanjhanaa, which had released in 2013.
