Prashant Pillai, born on 8 September 1981, in Pune, Maharashtra, India, is a Music Producer, Composer, Film score writer, and Bandleader. After completing his graduation in Sound Engineering from Chennai, he worked as his guide and mentor A.R. Rahman for a short while and then settled in Pune. In 2004, Prashant got his first ever break to compose a radio jingle. He did his job quite good and was praised for it. He composed music for

He composed background music for MTV Rush, a series of 12 short stories, directed by Bejoy Nambiar. After a gap of one year, in 2013, Prashant released his third soundtrack for his close friend Bejoy Nambiar, in his movie David. After the
