Mohanlal is on a roll, despite the minor setback he received in the form of L2 : Empuraan. However, he bounced back with back to back successes in the form of Thudarum and Hridayapoorvam. Thudarum was the highest grossing Malayalam film of the year before Lokah : Chapter 1 – Chandra took over.

Mohanlal is currently awaiting the release of the bilingual drama Vrusshabha. The Malayalam superstar will also make a comeback to Bollywood after more than a decade, with cameo appearances in Haiwaan and Bhooth Bangla respectively.
