Like the other major film producing centres of the country, the Malayalam film industry is also in a position to draw upon the talents of a large number of young artists from the fields of modelling or dancing. Contributing to this is the role of TV channels which are spawning anchors for the numerous reality shows and providing a ready bank of fresh talents. One such entry was that of the 28 year old South Indian actress Anumol. Born in Kerala, but equally adept in Malayalam and Tamil films, she in fact started her career in 2010 with the Tamil film "Kannukkulle", starring in one of the three major roles. Anu mol is a south Indian film actress especially from Kerala. She is born on November 12, 1987 in a small tourist spot in Kerala namely Pattambi of Palakad District. Her family was a conservative family. She also acted in Tamil due to the similarity in languages of both Kerala and Tamil. She is well known for her acts in movies like Ivan Megharoopan, Akam, Vedivazhipadu and her latest appearance in chayilyam got a rave response. Anu is an actress of great sense of skills in classical dance. She received many prizes from her childhood for performances in stages and many other shows.

Anu lost her father in her teenage and started her schooling at Presentation Convent, Perinthalmanna, and Palakad. Later completed her Secondary education at St.Mary's Higher Secondary School in Pariyapuram. Anu is a veteran actor who received a lot of awards Surya award for the Best Debut actress in the year 2012. Then comes in 2012 again AT ABU, the award of Bharat Murali in 2013, she received Jacey foundation Award in 2012 and 2014. Again in 2014 N P Abu Memorial Award, in 2015 Monisha award. Anu acted as TV anchor for shows in Malayalam channel Kairali We TV, in Vanitha Ratnam for Amrita TV. Anu is not married yet. She thinks she needs a great progress in characters in order to be settled. Presently she lives in Cochin along with her family.
