Bejoy Nambiar was born on April 12th, 1979 in Kochi, India. He is a screenwriter, a story writer, and a director who is mostly known for his short films, "Reflections" and "Rahu." In 2007, he was married to
Juhi Babbar
, an Indian film and television actress, although they, unfortunately, divorced after two years. Cheating and forgery were claimed to be the cause of the divorce. Also, Babbar stated that for Nambiar, work seemed more important than marriage.
Nambiar began his career as a director with his first Malayalam short film, "Reflections", in 2005. The film was written and produced by him too. Also, he directed another short film, "Rahu," in 2008.
He continued his career as a director, and he directed a Hindi thriller film, "
Shaitan
," which marked his first debut in 2011. Nambiar claimed that he had a different point of view since he wanted to shoot the film at unusual places and refused to shoot it at common locations. Also, he worked on a bilingual gangster comedy film, "
David
", in 2013, which became his second feature film. He directed the film himself wrote and produced it with the help of
Natasha Sahgal
and
Sharada Trilok
. An alternate version of "David" was also directed by himself, which featured a different cast and was shot in Tamil. He was also a member of the jury for India Film Project during the same year. In 2014, Nambiar produced "
Kuku Mathur Ki Jhand Ho Gayi
" and "
Pizza
", a Hindi comedy, romance, and drama film, and a supernatural thriller film.
This year, he is currently filming Wazir, a Hindi drama which will be released in December. Although he was mostly the writer, director, and producer for the previous films, now he is taking part as a director only.
