Rahul Roy is a well-known Indian model-turned-actor and producer in television and Bollywood film industry. He was born on February 9, 1968, in Kolkata, West Bengal in India to Indira Roy and Deepak. He studied at Lawrence School in Sanawar. Rahul is related to Cory Walia, a popular personality in the fashion world. He got married to fashion model, Rajalaxmi Khanvilkar, in the year 2000 and they had a divorce in 2014. Before his marriage, he was known for his Casanova image. In the late 80s, he stayed in Delhi to finish college and did modeling at the same time. His mother wrote an article about a fashion glossy and Mahesh Bhatt, a renowned film director, became interested in meeting her. That’s when he saw Rahul’s pictures and asked if he’s interested in working in Hindi films. His mother asked him to meet the director at his home in Juhu. When they met, Bhatt narrated a line about the film, Aashiqui, and Rahul agreed to do it.
