Rajeev Khandelwal is a model turned film and television actor. He was born on October 16, 1975 in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. Initially, the actor works as a Production Controller in a production house in Delhi. Later, he became a model for brands like LML, Kodak Express, Green Label Whisky, Videocon Refrigerators and more. He studied at St. Xavier’s College in Ahmedabad and took up B.Sc Chemistry Honors in college. His parents are Vijayalaxmi Khandelwal and Col. C. L. Khandelwal.
His passion for acting started in the television serial, Kya Hadsaa Kya Haqeeqat in year 2002, opposite
Pallavi Kulkarni
. He then played as Sujal Garewal in the Balaji Telefilms’ Kahiin to Hoga. In year 2005, Rajeev played as Varun Awasthi, an Intelligence Officer of the Research and Analysis Wing, in the Hindi political thriller serial, Time Bomb 9/11 on Zee TV. In the same year, the actor also portrayed the role of ACP Prithviraj in the crime detective show, C.I.D on Sony TV. In 2006, he portrayed the role of Captain Rajveer Singh Shekhawat in the youth-oriented television series, Left Right Left on SAB TV. Besides acting, Rajeev became a presenter in shows like Deal Ya No Deal, Supercars and the reality show, Sach Ka Saamna. Rajeev was also featured in SunLeyna, a television show in Pakistan. He was also seen in several music videos like Jhoom Jhoom of

and more.
He made his debut in the big screen in year 2008 through the Hindi psychological crime thriller film, Aamir, under the direction of

, followed by Shaitan in year 2011. In the same year, he portrayed the role of a deaf DJ in Soundtrack by Neerav Gosh. In year 2012, he appeared in the romantic comedy film, ‘Will You Marry Me?’ then in 2013, he was paired with
Tena Desae
in Aditya Dutt’s mystery thriller film, Table No. 21. Rajeev also donned films like Ishq Actually, Samrat & Co. and DOA Death of Amar.
He won the Best Jodi Award at the Star Parivaar Awards in 2004 together with Amna Shariff. He got married on February 7, 2011 to Manjiri Kamtikar. He claimed that he is an atheist.
