Ajayan Chirayinkeezhu is a drummer turned renowned Malayalam music director who has composed music for over 150 films. He was born in Chirayinkeezhu, a small town in Kerala, India. Ajayan started his career as a music composer in the late 1980s. He was known for his versatility and ability to compose music that complemented the emotions and situations depicted in the films. His compositions were a blend of traditional Indian and contemporary western music, and he often experimented with different genres of music. He Composed music for the Oru Naal music album in 2009 and also did a Background scores in several mini-screen serials. Some of his most famous songs include Novintee Maaril, Njanum Kaalayum, and Ezhazhake for the movie Ner Varennu Mmini Cherinju Ttaa in 2018. Ajayan received numerous awards and recognition for his contributions to the music industry.
