Host Maintains The Liveliness Of The Show
The lifeline of a talk show or any reality show or an award ceremony is its host. Also referred to as an anchor, the host enthrals the audience with their presence of mind, incredible fluency in the language that they communicate in, and their spontaneity. They bring out talents among the common men, or have multiple stars on a single platform for educational or entertainment purposes. The host needs to adapt with the format of the show- depending on the format of the show, the host portrays the role of an educator or interviewer or the mediator.
In general, hosts have a background in journalism which helps them in communicating with audience and the celebrities or common people who participate in the show. They have no strict script to follow which, although gives them the freedom to speak, but it tests their spontaneity and flawless speech delivery.
