Billy Gilman is a music artist who specializes in country music. He is from America.

He was born on the 24th of May, 1988. Gilman had a knack for music even before he started going to school. He sang for an audience for the first time at the young age of seven. At the age of 9, his talent was noticed by Asleep by the Wheel’s lead band member, Ray Benson. He helped Gilman record demo songs. After three years, he got a contract with Epic Records, an American record company based in Nashville.

For his song, One Voice, he won many awards, which also included a Grammy for Best Male Country Vocal Performance. He sang the song Baby Beluga, which was a part of the album, Country Goes Raffi. This album was dedicated to a Canadian songwriter who specialized in children’s music, Raffi Cavoukian. In September of 2001, he sang one of Michael Jackson’s songs titled ‘Ben’, at the late singer's 30th Anniversary Special. He released his own album on the occasion of Christmas titled Classic Christmas, which was given gold (top) rating by Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

Dare to Dream was his second album to win gold by the RIAA. After this album, he stopped working for a while, because his voice got harsh due to puberty. The last song he performed for Epic Records was Music Through Heartsongs: Songs Based on the Poems of Mattie J. T. Stepanek. Mattie was a young American poet who published seven books of poetry, and died young, at the age of 14, due to muscular dystrophy. Gilman got associated with Image Entertainment soon after and created the album, Everything and More, in 2005. Next year, he released an album which was titled his name. As a part of charity, he rounded up various country music singers and made the song, ‘ The Choice Click to look into! >> Read More... ’, for an organization called Soles4Souls. He made and released the album, Say You Will, in the month of July 2014. This album can be downloaded from the iTunes Store.

The same year, he hosted the Artists Music Guild’s Heritage Awards. Mallory Lewis   Mallory Lewis, also known as Mallory Tarcher, i >> Read More... co-hosted this program with him.
