Courtney Michelle Love whose birth name is Courtney Michelle Harrison, was born on 9th July 1964, is one of the most popular American musician, actor, and a visual artist as well. With a spanning career of four decades, she has a very controversial personal life. She was brought up in California and her parents got divorced later on. She began her career at an early age with small bands worked for several music projects in the 1980s. She has given thousands of live concerts. She shifted her career to acting and studied film in SanFransisco Art Institute. She made her debut with a short film "Club Vatican".

In spite of all her efforts, Love was torn between being popular to being controversial to being criticized. She was married to James Moreland in 1989 for a short period of time. She dated Eric Erlandson and Billy Corgan. She married Kurt Cobain on February 24, 1992, and the couple had a daughter Frances Bean Cobain.
