This music producer is regarded as one of the most dynamic artists on the international stage. He successfully can handle the worlds of classical and modern music, and yet can create a fusion of both western and Indian music in an artistic manner.

After composing music for Bollywood, the composer felt that Bollywood is not space for him and he would like to explore something new often. However, he does not dislike the idea of composing music for a Bollywood movie, if the script and director suit him.

Basically, Karsh kale is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer. He does not have any difficulty in shifting to any genres. He has studied cello which enables one to string instrument with four strings tuned in perfect fifths and even enables one to practice particular movements ("actions") necessary to play the instrument.

In addition, Karsh was exposed to a lot of rock, jazz, hip-hop and other genres. This helped him to maintain a balance between Indian and Western music. He is often of the opinion that, western and Indian can easily interact and come together in the same musical platform. Karsh even tells that Radio channels must come forward and encourage talent by providing independent musicians a dedicated slot.

He is an expert in creating fusion music and feels music is the same everywhere except for the language. Although he admitted once that Bollywood has gone global, it is creating a trend like pop music everywhere.

He has also played for Coke Studio and has released albums like “Realize", "Broken English", "Cinema", "Redesign: Realize Remixed" and "Breathing Under Water" ( with Anushka Shankar) to his credit. In addition, Karsh Kale has also won the GIMA Awards best fusion album for the same, beating A.R.Rahman.

Along with music composer, Kale rescored Bruce Lee's Enter the Dragon musical track.
